KWC 1911 Gas Airsoft Gun Gas Blowback any good?
What 1911 do you recommend?
And also I read this on a WE gun and that is a very good brand so I was wondering if its true, here it is: “The metal slide is too heavy for the gas, therefore, after the first 4 maybe 5 shots the gun will stop cycling properly and the slide wont go back far enough to load in the next round from the magazine”
I agree any full-metal slide are going to feel the cool-down effects with rapid-firing much more so than a plastic slide gbb.
I have a couple of GBBs by KWC, a P226 and a Taurus PT92, and they perform great, ~330fps on green gas and ~340fps on propane – and not difficult to score kills at 100ft. The plastic slide gives a decent kick…
Which is the only downside, they feel really light & cheap and without the mag it’s very toyish almost lighter than a springer. That being said, it’s a great plus for gas conservation – I get 5~6 mags (around 60~75 shots) on a single mag ‘s gas charge. Try that with a full-metal slide 
I also wish it would have a slide-lock mechanism that activates when you are out of ammo (like the KJW M9 and my M9 Marui, that’s an awesome feature).
Since my P226 and PT92 fare so similarly, I would imagine the same for the 1911 version – and after reading these reviews I gather that is the case.

IMO the pros far outweigh the cons, if you are on a budget it’s well worth it if had at the $50 mark. Any higher, the KJW M9 starts to look good.
Bottom line, if you are on a budget or focused on raw performance the KWC will not disappoint. If you want realism, it may be worth the extra $ for a WE, KWA / KSC, Marui, or KJW brands.
