BB Cream kills 5 or more birds with one stone
I stayed in Malaysia and met Ann at a hotel where I stayed. We were swimming in the swimming pool. She was a friendly girl and next day we decided to spend a day together going to worth visiting places in Penang. The next day when I saw her I was struck by the way she was looking. Not that she had make-up on her face or dressed in haute couture evening gown (she was wearing a simple white blouse and shorts) but something happened. Then I understood that it was because of her skin. She had a porcelain skin.
There is no other secret of beauty other than this: if you don’t have a nose which spoils your face (because there are no such thing like ugly eyes and lips), if you have long clean hair and good skin, it is enough to be considered a beautiful person in the modern world which doesn’t present any unique beautiful icon to be looked at as an ideal.
Later I found out Ann’s skin secret. The answer was bb cream. And it was bought inKorea.
Then I started using bb cream myself. Before such an amazing discovery, whenever I had tried to use different make up bases or powders, they had settled so much disappointment in me that I had given it up after the first try. Some of them were crumbles or couldn’t have been used together with sun cream. The face had had a scary Chuckie Doll look because of unnatural skin and angry expression. I didn’t use anything until I found bb cream which matched my skin color.
When you see the perfect skin of Korean models, actresses and singers in the photos, you may think that it is help of Photoshop, but how can you explain the perfectness of their skin when they come to a studio and you see them on TV on air? Photoshop for face improvement isn’t needed any more. Its role is played by bb cream now.
The formula was born in Germany where dermatologists prescribe bb cream to heal laser skin surgery because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties. But in Korea it found its public commercial use. They became so popular so that brands like Hanskin first were specializing only in producing bb creams. The popularity of bb cream in Korea is explained by being crazy about skin quality in this part of the world.
5 amazing effects that bb cream has:
1. Moisturizing
2. Sun protection
3. Make up base
4. Concealer (conceals spots and pores)
5. Wrinkle and skin defect treatment
One more! I will add to this well-known list: in South East Asia some people use it for whitening. They use the color tone which is lighter than their own skin. My skin color is white, so I tried to use whiter tone and darker tone on me. But it didn’t work well for me. Both were not good.
It is important to choose bb cream matching your skin tone and to cover face surface smoothly. Please note that chin line and sides of your face should be covered, too. The bb cream layer shouldn’t be thick and, on the other hand, shouldn’t be thin enough. If it is very thin, the skin defects will be seen, too, and it is rather not to use bb cream at all. Make sure that you spread bb cream by your finger several times on the same spot of the skin to ensure that there is a uniform layer now. Don’t forget to spread bb cream in a room with good lighting and then see how you look in the daylight. When you are choosing bb cream in a shop, don’t test it on your hand, because your hand skin color may be darker than your face complexion.Well chosen bb cream really makes you look good.
So many bb creams are sold nowadays in Asian market. Organic bb creams are becoming popular these days. For example, you will find an inexpensive green tea bb cream based on natural ingredients offered by Innisfree. There are more expensive bb creams and other cosmetics in Korean market but the more expensive price doesn’t always mean the better quality. Based on our experience after the several years of trial and mistake, we came to the conclusion that there are the products which are better than others. Many bb creams target Asian skin, but perfect tones for white skin are offered, too.
Keep in mind that it is better not to use many bb creams for a long time because some of them can make your skin yellowish. Use it only on particular occasion when you really need to have a Barbie’s face. You should carefully check ingredients stuffed in a product. Often, along with natural ingredients, some substances the application of which should be limited can be found. Natural ingredients are compensation for chemical stuff and often are written in big letters on brands’ websites, while chemicals are written in small letters in Korean language on a product’s cover. Another precaution is to wash off bb cream before going to bed.
European companies started to produce bb creams but Asian creams are still the best.
Hanskin, Tony Moly, Skinfood, Etude House, Missha are very popular and sold well. People use them and know them well. In addition, I could name a dozen of other excellent brands either being much more expensive or less expensive than above mentioned brands, just less promoted but still have a perfect effect.
