Will a scope fit on this airsoft pistol?

I want to put a scope on the pistol to make it look better, I don’t know how to tell for sure if a scope will work with the railing of the P712 I ordered,
I know it won’t help with accuracy but is it possible to add a scope to this gun??? and how?
It would look pretty silly to be honest, like a kid’s zap ‘em up space gun but better made than the plastic toys the kids play with.
I would be tempted to cover it so it looks like one unit instead of a pistol with a scope on top…..or the side of course.
Scopes don’t have to go on top. Just adjust the sights for the lower height of the scope if you mount it on the side.
Some rifle shooters prefer a side-mounted scope.
You could make a bracket to hold it pretty easy from a small piece of scrap hardwood or stiff metal strip and paint it black or whatever.
Do a nice job without rushing and it can look as good as a shop-bought one.
Both of my air rifles have home made brackets for mounting the scopes.
It certainly won’t help with accuracy on a pistol however well it’s mounted, but it could could help you to spot targets in very low light if the front lens is wide enough for the magnification.
You need 4x – 6x per inch of aperture for the best low light performance in telescopes, depending on just how dark it is and how wide your own pupils get under different conditions of light.
A 4 x 30 scope is OK for it for a small one that would fit onto a pistol but a big 4 x 50 won’t put all the light into your eye so you’re no better off with the bigger lens at 4x, but 7x – 10x will, so that’s the right power for a 50mm scope at night, depending on your own eyes and exactly how dark it is.
That best power for brightness is called the Rich Field Magnification.

You need a large lens in front to get the most light whether it’s a rifle scope, a spotting scope, or a giant telescope several feet across.
The maths works exactly the same. More lens area, more light.

Then you need the light to get into your eye, which is where the magnification matters for the aperture you’ve got.

The scope doesn’t know what it’s pointing at. It’s the same for dark woodland and wildlife watching at night as for astronomy
