Matrix tactical systems upgrades question: Airsoft?
I recently spotted the matrix tactical systems m4 on evike and thought it would be good to make into a custom dmr due to its efficiency with a m100 spring (370-380fps!) and low price ($99) as well as stock tightbore and reinforced internals. However, upgrades are expensive and thus i need to know if i need to pay evike $30-$60 to install 2 pieces for me or if i can do it myself. These two pieces are the JG 10″ free float ris system and the g&g cqb m4/m16 fixed stock.($45) As for the stock, will it fit onto the m4 simply or will it require custom “fitting.” In other words, if i buy this stock will i be able tp securely put it on with what it gives me. Now as for the JG 10″ ris, will that install like a regular handguard on an m4 or does it need mechanical work to secure it. Please note i will stick the wire through the ris to a peq2. Lastly, does the sr25 mock suppressor ($45) have 14mm ccl threads to fit on aegs or is it only for sr25 models. Thanks for your help!
First, don’t get the $100 version. Save up and get the $200 full metal one, there is alot more pros than cons with that one. As far as M4 externals go such as rail system and fixed stock are very simple to put on by yourself and require no more than 10 minutes of your time to install. Mock suppressor (does) fit on AEG’s as well and yes is counter clock wise turn. An Sr25 is nothing more than a semi only, accurate M16 style weapon. Trust me on getting the $200 full metal one it would save you money in the long run. The one for $230 is even more ideal for a DMR because its between 400-430 fps and with 28g bbs it could potentially excell more than 200ft accuratly. Hope this helps.
