Choosing an Airsoft Shotgun
Airsoft guns are becoming extremely popular. Not only are they fun and easy to shoot but there are many different styles to choose from. If you are an avid airsoft player and are looking for a change from your normal semi automatic guns, you may want to look into an airsoft shotgun. Airsoft shotguns can be more challenging because you have to shoot it like a real shot gun. For this reason there is a variety of styles available in the airsoft shotgun category. You can choose from the older style double barreled shot gun, to the pump action shotgun like the multi shot tactical shotgun by UTG, which is powered by a spring.
If you are looking for a gun that can hold more rounds you will want to go with an airsoft spring shotgun. This is especially effective if you are in a CQB where you know you are going to need to use a lot of ammo. One thing to keep in mind with the airsoft spring shotgun is that you have to be in close range to hit someone with it. Other than that the airsoft spring shotgun is a great gun to use, especially if you like the older model shotgun styles.
Before you buy your shotgun you will want to make sure you do some research. When it comes to the best airsoft shotguns, here are some things to consider:
Double-Barreled Shotgun
The double-barreled shotgun is most frequently seen in the gas airsoft variety. One of the biggest draws to the double-barreled shotgun is the ability to load both chambers for more firing action. Some users also like the kickback they receive with this gun, for a more realistic feel.
Grip Choices
An airsoft shotgun can come with either a full stock or a pistol grip. The right grip for you really comes down to a matter of personal choice. It is best to try out the different grips before purchasing your gun to ensure you get the most comfortable airsoft shotgun for you. Some models come in both grips so you can still select the best airsoft shotguns with your own use and comfort in mind.
You will want to look at a variety of airsoft shotguns. You will also want to try a few out to get an idea for how they feel and which one you are most comfortable with. It is also a good idea to ask around the airsoft community to see what types of airsoft shotguns people recommend. Once you attain this information you will want to start shopping around to see how much the airsoft shotguns you are interested in cost. When you are pricing out your gun you will want to make sure to pay close attention to specific features for each gun.
